Spicy BBQ Sweetcorn

Grilled sweetcorn is a must for a summer barbecue. Try this easy recipe drizzled with our chilli flavoured oil for a hot smokey finish. 


  • Serves 4 as a side
  • Preparation time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking time: 15 minutes


Sweetcorn ears, 4 husk removed Sweet chilli jam Sour Cream Coriander, chopped for garnishing Lime juice, to taste Salt Extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp Peperoncino chill olive oil, to drizzle


  • Light the BBQ and then bring a large pan of salted water to the boil.
  • Add the sweetcorn and boil for 10 minutes or until soft.
  • Transfer the corn to the BBQ and drizzle with a small amount of olive oil 
  • Cook for around 5 minutes or until slightly charred for a smoky taste.
  • Remove from the heat and dollop sweet chilli jam and sour cream over to taste.
  • Squeeze some lime juice over the corn and finally sprinkle some chopped coriander on top and drizzle with chilli oil for an extra hit.
