Really Tasty Antipasti
If you want to get the party in full swing with minimal toil, pop the prosecco and dole out these delishous antipasti and get back into the kitchen to work on the main course.
Recipe
- Serves 4
- Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Prosciutto crudo – 200g/ 6.7oz thinly sliced.
- Ciauscolo – 200g/ 6.7oz sliced
- Honeydew melon – 1
- Pecorino cheese – one young, one seasoned
- Organic Italian Honey
- Country bread – 8 slices
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Ginger – small lump
- Extra virgin olive oil – to drizzle
Method
Arrange the meats on a platter with slices of melon.
Slice the cheese and arrange on a platter. Lightly drizzle with runny honey.
Toast the bread on each side on a grill till golden. Don’t be afraid of a bit of blackening – it’s what gives the best taste. While still hot rub half the bread with the peeled garlic clove and the other with the peeled ginger. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle a z shape of olive oil over each slice.
