Peranzana is a cultivar of olive said to have been introduced to Puglia from Provence over 1000 years ago with the region’s largest groves planted in the
1770’s by Raimondo di Sangro, Duke of Torremaggiore. Peranzana, in the local Puglian dialects translates as ‘Provenzale’.
Nudo’s 2022 Monovarietal Peranzana oil has a distinct, fruity flavour with notes of artichoke, green tomato and almonds. This subtle and original oil is emerald green when milled and is perfectly paired with all kinds of salads and seafood.
