Payment and transaction security
We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. By placing an order you agree to payment being charged to your debit/credit card account or electronic payment account. All payments will be taken in the currency the price is displayed at on the Nudo website. When you pay for your order by card, we carry out certain checks which include but not limited to obtaining authorisation from your card issuer to ensure you have adequate funds for security reasons. This may involve validating you’re your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party database including issuer, registered credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies.
Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Your entire credit or debit card number is transmitted to the appropriate credit card company to process your order. We do not store your credit or debit card on our servers. You should protect your password and your computer from unauthorised access by others, and always make sure you sign off when you finish on a shared computer.
When you adopt for yourself, your first delivery is paid upfront, and then the payment for each further delivery goes out on the 10th of the month prior to the delivery, using your original payment method. Your adoption is ongoing until you decide to end it, you are not locked in. Any changes to your account (such as skipping a delivery, changing address, or cancellation) must be made before these payment dates to apply to the next delivery, or we may need to charge you for late communication of correct address.
Payment and delivery dates:
Duo, Bi-annual ongoing: Spring, payment March 10th, delivery at the end of April. Autumn/Fall, payment 10th September, delivery end of October
Completo, Quarterly ongoing: As above plus, Winter, payment December 10th, delivery at the end of January. Summer, payment 10th June, delivery at the end of July.
The payment for a gift adoption is one off and upfront, at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the gift recipient to register an account and redeem their adoption, in order to choose their grove and receive their oil. We are unable to fulfil the deliveries if this is not completed.
The information collected during registration is to provide us with their delivery details to deliver the oil and to send delivery notification. Personal data is never sold third parties and we will only contact them with service messages if they do not consent to marketing communications.
The date of first delivery depends on when the recipient registers their adoption. Below are the cut off dates for registration for next deliveries deliveries.
Registration and delivery dates:
Your tree's oil, spring delivery end of April - register by April 1st.
Monovarietal, summer delivery end of July - register July 1st.
Regional, fall delivery end of October - register by October 1st.
Olio Nuovo, winter delivery end of January - register January 1st.
Adoption pack delivery schedule
Adoption oil packs are delivered at the following times:
Your tree's oil, spring delivery end of April - all adoptions
Monovarietal, summer delivery end of July - Completo ongoing and gift adoptions
Regional, fall delivery end of October - Duo and Completo ongoing adoptions, Completo gift adoptions
Olio Nuovo, winter delivery end of January - Completo ongoing and gift adoptions
We reserve the right to change these delivery timing within reason at our discretion, customers will be advised on these changes.
Delivery times and provider
USA deliveries are shipped with FedEx SmartPost then USPS from Fort Lauderdale (FL). All other orders are shipping from the UK local courier. For gift adoptions we aim to send the welcome packs and certificates within 2 working days or the order, for shop orders, we aim to send out by the following working day.
If your order is over 2kg, for security a signature will be required on delivery. We insure the goods until they are delivered, however do not take responsibility for failed delivery due to factors beyond our control, such as customer error with addresses of theft from the front door.

There is no domestic delivery charge for gift adoptions or adoptions for yourself, however there is a charge for international shipping. This will show in your basket at purchase if you select a different country.
For orders from the online shop, orders delivering to Canada, the EU, and Rest of World, these are dispatched from the UK using a courier service. For orders over 2kg/3lb the rates become very high, so our advice is to place separate orders if over 2kg/3lb (that's 2 to 3 big tins of oil) to reduce the shipping costs.
We are unable to estimate the taxes, duties, or customs fees that may be particular to the international destinations. Because of this, Nudo does not include these charges in our shipping costs, and customers may receive subsequent invoices from local customs authority. Please note that we are not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or other customs fees, which may apply.

If your delivery isn't received please notify us as soon as possible. We are only able to track for 3 months so after this we will not be able to review delivery issues for you.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it for a refund or replacement. It must be returned within 10 days of the delivery date and in the same state in which you received. Delivery and handling charges are non-refundable, and return costs are at the expense of the customer. You will receive your refund within 30 days of Nudo receiving the returned, undamaged goods.
You may cancel your order by emailing or calling us, by 2pm the day after you place the order.
Adoptive parent discount
As an adoption parent you receive 20% off full priced items in the store. The discount is applied at checkout and is nor redeemable with another other promo code. As an ongoing adoptive parent, your discount applies as long as you are an adoptive parent, i.e. until you cancel. If you have received a gift adoption, your discount is active for 1 year, starting from the date you redeemed your gift code to start your adoption.
Data protection and security
We respect your privacy and you personal details will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.
We will only collect personal information that is necessary for us to fulfil our service, and will only collect information specifically and knowingly provided by you. Your personal data is secure in our systems and your information will never be sold to other companies. At any point you may contact us to access any of your own personal information we hold. You may ask for clarification on why we collect it and how we may use it. You may also ask at to correct or rectify any of your personal data, or for this data to be removed completely from our system.
For Nudo to contact you for marketing reasons, we must receive your consent through affirmative opt-in. If you provide this you may still opt out at any time to stop receiving marketing communications.
